ELDS FOCUSES ON THE TECHNICAL TRAINING OF THE STUDENT AND NOT SO MUCH ON THE AWARDS.  COMPETITION IS STRICTLY AN EXTRA OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM, TO LEARN AND TO MATURE AS A PERFORMER. 

All students are required to take at least 2 Ballet, 1 Jazz and 1 Tap each week.

Rehearsals are once a week for 1 1/2 - 3 hours.  Students are expected to be present at all rehearsals with illness the only reason to miss.

Students learn how to be part of a team.

Age appropriateness is the main goal when selecting music, costumes and choreography.

ELDS students are proud recipients of numerous high scores, titles and choreography awards.
